![]() Summary: The Route 66 Tour is a nationwide tour sponsored by The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, KODA.US, Jullien Gordon & The Department of Motivated Vehicles, and other corporate sponsors to prepare the millennial generation for success in their campuses, communities, and careers. Purpose: To paint a vivid picture of the world that college students are graduating into and give them a plan to maximize their undergraduate experience and help them develop their personal, intellectual, social, and financial capital. The List: The list began with a simple blog entry called 66 Things Every College Student Must Do Before Graduation. Jullien reflected on everything he did in college on top of class that helped him achieve the early success he has today. The list is organized based on Jullien’s 8 Cylinders of Success so that college students can graduate with a clear sense of purpose. The Presentation: Jullien will deliver the Route 66 presentation at 7 of NSCS’s 235 campuses in Fall 2010. The interactive presentation involves mulit-media (PowerPoint, video, & music), on-stage role plays, games, and prizes. The presentation will be approximately two hours long and involve audience participation, video clips, music, and story telling to demonstrate that college is simply a 4 year stepping stone for a student’s 40 year career. Jullien has addressed audiences of 2,000+ at UCLA and Stanford graduations. His experience as the creator and lead instructor of Driving School for Life positions him to deliver an interactive and transformational experience that will have a lifelong impact on participants. |
